Skate Theory

Skate Theory is a site dedicated to skateboarding and “Everything Skateboarding”. It has been put on earth for the sole purpose of informing skateboarders of news and events in their local community. If it has to do with skateboarding than you’ll find it here. Forget about the other “action sports” out there, we don’t care or include them here! We’re about skating. Local, amateur, or professional: we treat them all equally, as long as it’s still skateboarding. Whether it’s an individual, small shop, big corporation, or a skate park, if there is a skateboard involved it’s important to us and should be to you if you are reading this.

So what is Skate Theory, it a concept that’s happening now. The idea is simple: get all the news, events, and happenings about skateboarding and post them in one, easy-to-find place. It’s working from the inside out, it feeds the rest of the world news not the rest of the world feeding you news. If you have information, we work to make it as easy as possible for you to post this information online. We strive to keep the information on Skate Theory as accurate as possible so all submissions are confirmed with our editor before being posted on the site. The concept is simple, to help build a skateboard community in your area with information. Information is power and we define the term “information” broadly so long as it has something to do with skating, which gives it more power.

If you are a skateboarder this site is just as much yours as it is ours. It’s for you to share information that’s interesting and relevant and part of the thing we all have in common, skateboarding.
