Instrument Skateboards, Based out of Cincinnati, recently sent us a copy of the video, “Cant’ Stop The Shine.” This video had it all, a killer soundtrack, great editing, and the skating was amazing! How could you not be hyped to watch dudes like Edward Kennedy, Taylor Nawrocki, Jordan West, Ian Storm, Kokomo Joe, Gary Collins, Cyril Jackson, and Devin Abner killing it in the streets.

Gary actually sent me this video a good month or 2 ago, but after watching it, it got buried in the hurricane aftermath known as my desk. Sorry about spreading the word on this a little late.

Ed Templeton has a huge show opening up at the S.M.A.K. Museum in Belgium.

The American painter, drawing artist and photographer Ed Templeton (°1972) tells the story of his life, a story that also makes comments on the society in which he lives. Templeton presents his images free from hierarchy, focusing on the world of punk and skateboarding, friends, family, himself and his wife… From intimately to far outside, he effortlessly couples autobiographical fragments with a universal imagery. The result is an exhibition which presents itself as ‘a story’, fed and corroborated by photographs, paintings and sketches that roam through the spaces, free from hierarchy.
