Joe Dirt (Chris Shatrowsky) passed away recently. He rode for Lost Soul Skateboards, and then later on moved to Keystone Skateboards. This guy was as dirty as his name, and had a “take no prisoners” attitude when it came to having fun and skateboarding. If you ever met him, you would know he is a character and a half.

DC Footwear is hosting another “King of” Series. This one will be in LA on October 18th 2008. This year they’ve narrowed it down to two real Los Angeles street skating spots in just one day: Lockwood and Belmont. This past friday Deluxe kicked off their catalog season with the Spitfire.

Mike V will be making two stop on January 12 2008 at Huber Skatepark then Harada Skatepark. This is a skate demo presented by Active and Element skateboards.

They’ll be blasting music from Revolution Mother’s latest CD to ignite the session into frenzy.
