During this meeting, the initial concept drawing of the skatepark will be presented along with the budget and private funds available. If approved, we will be able to move on to the final design phase and then construction in early 2010.
If the Bedford Skatepark Project is NOT approved during this meeting, the skatepark will NOT be built!!!
That is why it is very important that every person who supports our local skateboarding community be in attendance. We need to fill the room to show the Bedford Board of Supervisors that we do care about this project.
Please plan on attending and bring your friends, relatives and whoever else believes that a Skatepark in Bedford County will be a great addition to our local community.
Meeting will be held in the Board of Supervisors meeting room on the top floor of the Bedford County Administration Building, 122 East Main Street, Bedford, Va. (across the street from the Court House)

Go to the Westminster, MD Parks and Rec website. Look at our skatepark. We are expeorting the plans/financial model. We did it fro $130,000. It is a $500,00 park. Call Ron S.
