Red Bull Vegas Am Jam 2009. Another Vegas Vally Amateur Skatepark Series has kicked off. This contest will has kicked off on January 10th 2009 and will span all the way through November 14th 2009.
All Comps start following registration which will cost $10 with limited enrollment. Helmets will be required!
RED BULL VEGAS AM JAM FORMAT
The Red Bull Vegas Am Jam Series is operated as a jam format, which is an open forum for all skaters and riders to compete together within their respective sport-specific session. The jam-style arrangement is a more relaxed environment and encourages the competitors to try various maneuvers and tricks. All participants are required to wear helmets to compete.
REGISTRATION
Each competition offers up to 130+ entry positions and is open to both male and female competitor’s aged 6 and up. Contest registration forms are available at local area skate shops, during the event and can be downloaded in advance off our website. There is a $10 entry fee, and all participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver. The competitions start immediately following registration.
All competitors should arrive on time to register as the comps fills up quickly. Competitors indicate which category they will compete in on their registration form and are divided accordingly. The categories for Skateboarding are SK8 Jr Jam (beginners- must be 11 or younger), SK8 Intermediate 13 and under, SK8 Intermediate 14 and up and SK8 Advanced. BMX is divided into Intermediate or Advanced. Classes are subject to change due to special interest or enrollment and event.
This event is presented by the Skatepark Coalition, City of Las Vegas, and Clark County Parks & Recreation.
